OLR Young Franciscans Middle School Youth Group Youth Meeting 1

Young Franciscans Youth Group provides a place for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grader boys and girls to come and enjoy fellowship with others in a fun filled atmosphere as they learn more about their faith. We meet every 2nd Saturday of the month to learn more about Christ and the Saints through fun-filled activities. Come meet new friends and enjoy learning more about your faith! Our meetings are full of ice breakers, competitions, snacks, and games. We have social activities throughout the year such as, ice skating, bowling and deanery retreats. Service is an important part of our ministry. In serving others, we mirror the loving actions of St. Francis. Our projects include but are not limited to: Christmas Child Shoe Box Collection and Deanery Fill the Pantry.

February 11th Saturday - Road Warriors Ice Hockey Game 7:05 PM meet at Bilo Center.

Get your tickets from Mrs. Czajka by Wednesday, Feb. 1st.

February 25/26 Saturday/Sunday - YF pick up SVDP Food donations before and after both Masses
Email Mrs. Czajka to sign up PLEASE (We need to be sure both Masses are covered)

March 10th Saturday - Young Franciscan Meeting in OLR Parish Center 6:30 - 8:30 pm

March 17/18 Saturday/Sunday - OLR Ministry Fair after both Masses

April 14th Saturday - YF Meeting in OLR Parish Center 6:30 - 8:30 pm:

May 12th Saturday - Young Franciscan Meeting (Details to follow at a later date.)

May 26/27 Friday/Saturday - Catholic Piedmont Deanery Lock in at Ghatti Town

Kristen and Andrew Aleshire have been key in the success in the Young Franciscans Youth Group for many years. They are blessed to have a beautiful young son, named Preston and now awaiting the arrival of his little brother. Kristen and Andrew are hoping to be able to continue to help YF until December but we are in need of some help. If God is calling you to help the youth, please consider the YF.
